Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and beverage service, complemented by excellent leadership and team management skills. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to meet demand.
Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development.
Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food production and service.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation for bar snacks or meals.
Monitor customer satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Background in culinary arts or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff to achieve high performance.
Experience in food production and kitchen operations is advantageous.
Previous experience as a barista or in hotel settings will be considered an asset.
